Yarrie Rising

Captured on the tranquil shores of Yarrie Lake at the height of the Milky Way season, this image reveals the Galactic Core rising in the eastern sky. Reflected across the lake's glass-like surface on a still winter's night, the scene creates a striking symmetry between earth and cosmos. The distant lights on the horizon belong to the underground mine and the township of Narrabri, offering a subtle reminder of human presence beneath the vast Australian night sky.
